Artelac UV is an ophthalmic solution for protection against UV radiation, based on Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Vitamin E TPGS, MSM, amino acids and Hyaluronic Acid 0.1%

Composition:
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Vitamin E TPGS, MSM, amino acids and Hyaluronic Acid 0.1%.

Artelac UV is a unique and certified Personal Protection Equipment that protects the cornea, lens and retina against UV radiation, light
blue light, artificial light sources and prolonged exposure to sunlight,
preventing problems such as photokeratitis, photokeratoconjunctivitis, cataracts and
age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Artelac UV provides hydration and protection of the ocular surface.
Artelac UV can be used together with contact lenses.

Mechanism of action:
ARTELAC UV acts as a protective layer for the surface of the eye against UV radiation and blue light and improves surface lubrication
ocular, contributing to the protection of the corneal epithelium against various sources of stress.
Sodium hyaluronate mechanically interacts with the mucin layer of the tear film, retaining water and promoting lasting stability of the ocular surface.
The synergistic action of amino acids plays a role in nourishing the ocular surface, in addition to adjusting the pH and osmolarity of tears, improving epithelial protection against UV and blue light stress.
Vitamin E TPGS promotes hydration of the ocular surface.
The ophthalmic solution has a protective and antioxidant action against damage caused by UV radiation and accelerates the natural recovery process.

Indications:
- has a protective action against UV radiation, blue light, sunlight and the harmful effects of artificial light;
- prevents the appearance of photokeratitis and photokeratoconjunctivitis caused by exposure to UV radiation;
- prevents the appearance of cataracts caused by exposure to UV radiation;
- prevents aging of the macula caused by exposure to UV radiation and blue light;
- it is indicated in case of prolonged exposure to the computer, video terminals, television;
- it is indicated in case of prolonged and intense exposure to UV radiation;
- it is indicated for outdoor activities and sports;
- it is indicated in case of exposure to environments with high values ​​of UV radiation (mountain,
sea, tropical areas, etc.).
Use does not affect visual acuity or color perception and keeps contrast sensitivity unchanged.

Method of application:
Open the bottle and remove the protective cap. Press the bottle gently and apply one or two drops in each eye.
Repeat application if necessary.
Close the bottle after use: the remaining product can be used for up to 2 months
from the first opening.
The product can be used together with contact lenses.
