Description
Aromatol is a traditional medicine for adults in the form of a colorless liquid. The medicine is intended to be used to improve well-being, for example in case of colds, headaches, muscle pain or insect bites, as well as digestive problems. The medicine is an alcoholic mixture of menthol and essential oils:
- lemon oil from lemon (Citrus limon),
- cinnamon oil from the bark of the Ceylon cinnamon tree (Cinnamomum zeylanicum),
- field mint oil (Mentha arvensis),
- lavender oil from lavender (Lavandula officinalis),
- citronella oil from citronella moth (Cymbopogon nardus),
- clove oil from the clove tree (Caryophylus aromaticus).
The menthol contained in the preparation has choleretic and spasmolytic effects. Aromatol can be taken orally, used as a gargle, applied externally to the skin or used as a steam inhalation. The drug is intended for traditional use in the indicated indications and its effectiveness is based exclusively on long-term use and experience.
