Apap ® Intense is a double whammy against pain and fever! The drug in the form of film-coated tablets combines two active substances: paracetamol ( Paracetamolum ) and ibuprofen ( Ibuprofenum ) indicated for the symptomatic treatment of pain and high fever.
When to use the combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen Apap ® Intense 200 mg + 500 mg?
Each Apap® Intense coated tablet contains 200 mg of ibuprofen ( Ibuprofenum ) and 500 mg of paracetamol ( Paracetamolum ). This combination is indicated for pain that requires a stronger analgesic effect than ibuprofen or paracetamol used separately.
- Paracetamol l is an effective analgesic, antipyretic and has no anti-inflammatory effect.
- Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by relieving pain, reducing swelling and inflammation, and reducing high body temperature.
The pharmacological effects of ibuprofen and paracetamol differ in terms of site and mechanism of action. These complementary modes of action are also synergistic, due to which the product has stronger analgesic and antipyretic properties than its active substances used alone.
Apap ® Intense Analgesic Tablets can be used in adults for the short-term treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as:
- migraine,
- headache,
- back pain,
- menstrual pain,
- toothache,
- rheumatic pains,
- muscle pain,
- pain associated with mild forms of arthritis.
Apap® Intense 200 mg + 500 mg tablets can also be used to treat cold and flu symptoms , sore throat or fever . The small pack contains 10 film-coated tablets.
