Aloe vera gel is a real panacea for the skin, known for its calming, repairing, cicatrizing and moisturizing effect.

It can be used as such or as an ingredient for skin and hair care and hygiene compositions.

Aloe vera is a plant with thick and fleshy leaves that is part of the lily family. Rich in vitamins, trace elements, enzymes and acids, the gel obtained from the leaves has exceptional virtues, recognized in all corners of the world. This plant already appeared in the oldest medical treatises due to the beneficial properties for the human body that it has proven.

• Aloe gel has a strong moisturizing effect, is astringent and anti-inflammatory, allows compensation of water losses from the skin.
• Nourishing, skin healing, regenerating, stimulates skin healing and improves microcirculation.
• Calming, soothing, relieves skin irritations, erythemas, sunburns.
• Stimulates collagen synthesis.
• It is suitable for application on any type of skin, including sensitive, irritated, injured or allergic skin.

Method of obtaining:

The harvesting of the plant is done entirely by hand and the aloe leaves are processed within a few hours of harvesting. They are cleaned and washed, after which the fresh gel is sampled. The method of obtaining preserves all the qualities and active elements of the plant.

Characteristics:

Clear fluid liquid, colorless slightly yellowish, characteristic fine, acidic smell.

Main compounds:

• over 20 minerals, including: calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium;
• enzymes and analgesic, cicatrizing, calming substances;
• polysaccharides, glycoproteins, phenylalanine, over 15 amino acids, most of which are essential amino acids;
• aloeverosa, lectin, saponins, aloetin, aloelucin, aloesin, aloemycin

Ingredients:

Aloe barbadensis leaf juice*, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid^.

Important:

- Contrary to what the name suggests, aloe vera gel is not a gel, but a fluid product like water. This is normal, because the gel extracted from the plant, once crushed and filtered, becomes fluid like water;
- Aloe vera products that come in the form of a gel contain xanthan gum or another gelling agent.

Way of ussage:

- it can be applied to the skin as such, undiluted;
- to give the product the consistency of a gel, it can be mixed with 0.5 - 1.5% xanthan gum;
- as an ingredient for the preparation of hygiene and skin or hair care compositions.

Applied as such, undiluted:

– sprayed or applied with a disk on the skin, possibly instead of toner;
- for soothing after shaving or hair removal, by spraying;
- on burns, wounds, wounds, irritations, fresh scars, by spraying or compresses.

As an ingredient in cosmetic compositions:

- as an active ingredient included in cosmetic compositions, in the usual percentage of 5-20%, for the preparation of creams, lotions, toners, gels, shampoos, hair care products;
- as an ingredient in masks together with powders and vegetable extracts, various other specific ingredients;
- prepared with xanthan, the gel can be combined with approx. 5% oils or fat-soluble actives that can disperse quite well in the viscous gel.

Storage conditions:

Refrigerated, in the original container, protected from light, below 25°C; after opening the container, we recommend keeping it in the refrigerator and using it within 3 months.
