Description
Aciclovir Ziaja is a medicine in the form of a cream for use on the skin. The indication for use is the local treatment of recurrent herpes of the lips and face (the so-called "cold"), which is caused by the Herpes simplex virus. The active substance of the drug is acyclovir, which has a strong antiviral effect on H. simplex. Aciclovir Ziaja works most effectively if treatment is started as soon as possible after the first symptoms of herpes appear, such as burning, itching or redness. Treatment can also be started later in the course of the disease when lumps or blisters appear.
